Job Description

HAL is a leading digital asset management platform that helps individuals and organizations in querying and automating blockchain data. Applications for blockchain data include trading, gaming, governance, compliance or many other crypto industries.

We just reached 10,000 users and secured in January 2022 a $3 million seed funding round from leading venture capital firms such as CoinFund, Eden Block, Animoca Brands, Hashkey Capital, Wintermute, imToken Ventures, Bitcoin.com, as well as Alan Howard’s Piquet Ventures, among others. At HAL, we're excited about making crypto easy for individuals and organizations, and build a new economy from the ground up based on blockchain actionable data.

We are looking for a Platform Partnerships Manager to deploy our tools to the DeFi and Blockchain Gaming ecosystem.

In this role you will be working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer. We are looking for a Platform Partnerships Manager to make HAL the preferred click-to-track button for dApps and protocols (e.g Bancor, Aave, Snapshot).

In this role you will shape HAL’s platform partnership strategy, negotiate and sign deals with platforms that result in deep product integrations and drops on the HAL platform, and work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure deals are properly executed. The candidate we are looking for has an adept ability to build relationships, demonstrate analytical rigor, and approach deals with creativity.

The Role:

  • Map out HAL platforms strategy using market trends and analytical rigor to identify executable platform partnership opportunities that further HAL’s goals
  • Develop relationships with target platforms and sell a partnership vision with creativity, empathy, and conviction. You will be expected to learn the technical elements of blockchain data listening and monitoring to have the majority of these conversations without constant product support.
  • Negotiate deals with vigor to achieve an optimal outcome for HAL, knowing when to have the courage to say no and the wisdom to say yes.
  • Develop cross functional relationships with colleagues across marketing, product and engineering.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure the deal is properly executed. Providing support both internally and externally on areas to improve the deal, or on items that are not being completed on time or in a manner that falls short of expectations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Have a proven track record of evaluating and negotiating deals
  • An ability to utilize data to provide actionable insights and ensure we’re driving toward the best possible outcome for HAL and our users
  • Have outstanding interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence (EQ), and ability to persuade / drive alignment among differing perspectives
  • Bonus points if you have worked in the crypto space, or at a platform company
